Where to pay when sending flowers to Russia

If you searched for “dove posso pagare?”—Italian for “where can I pay?”—you can pay for your Pyat Tsvetov flower order online through CloudPayments at checkout. Check the payment options displayed there before proceeding, especially if you are ordering from abroad. Acceptance of every foreign-issued card is not guaranteed.
Customers sending flowers from another country often need to settle several details together: payment, the recipient’s availability and the right delivery time in Russia. At Pyat Tsvetov (5 Flowers), we have been helping customers choose flowers since 2011 and have three own flower shops in Saint Petersburg. We deliver flowers across Russia, with delivery arrangements depending on the destination. The following guidance explains what to check before paying and how to make the gift suitable for the person receiving it.
Pay online and check the options available to you
Our online checkout uses CloudPayments, so this is where to look for the payment options available for your order. If your card was issued outside Russia, do not assume that its usual availability for international purchases means this transaction will be accepted. Read the options actually displayed at checkout before attempting payment. You can also consult our delivery and payment information while planning the order, particularly when the destination or timing needs clarification.
Before paying, review the bouquet you have chosen and the delivery details you intend to use. Check the recipient’s name, telephone number and address carefully, including any apartment or building information needed to find them. When ordering from abroad, a familiar address copied from an old message may still need checking if the recipient has moved or changed workplaces. For questions about ordering or the payment options shown at checkout, call 8 (812) 507-67-05; card acceptance should never be treated as certain.
Allow for the destination and the delivery charge
We deliver flowers across Russia, and city delivery costs 500 RUB. For remote districts and suburbs, the operator confirms the delivery price when confirming the order. A place described casually as being “in the city” may still require clarification if it lies beyond the central urban area. Give the full destination rather than only the nearest well-known city, so the delivery arrangements can be discussed using the actual address.
When sending to a workplace, establish whether the recipient will be there on the chosen date and whether flowers can reach their desk or reception area. For a home address, check details such as the apartment number and any access instructions you know. These small checks are particularly useful when you are abroad and cannot help the courier in person. Keep the recipient’s current telephone number available as well: the courier calls about 15 minutes before arrival, so a number they actually answer matters.
Bouquets we can deliver
Choose a delivery time around the recipient’s day
In large cities, express delivery is available in 1–2 hours after the order is confirmed. The starting point is confirmation of the order, so leave room for that step when planning a birthday greeting or another timed occasion. You can also arrange delivery at a specified time, with a margin of plus or minus 30 minutes, or choose one of the windows 09–12, 12–15, 15–18 or 18–21. Select a period when the recipient is likely to be reachable and able to receive flowers.
Orders can be placed 1–30 days ahead, which is useful when you already know the date of an anniversary or family celebration. If you are arranging the gift from another country, make sure your intended time is understood in the recipient’s destination rather than relying on the clock where you are. Delivery in Saint Petersburg is available around the clock; that statement applies specifically to Saint Petersburg. For other destinations, clarify the proposed schedule when the order is confirmed instead of assuming the same hours apply everywhere.
Match the bouquet to the person and the occasion
Start with the recipient’s preferences: colours they wear, flowers they have mentioned or the style of their home can all help you choose. A bouquet for a close partner may carry a different message from flowers for a colleague, teacher or relative. Browse the bouquets catalogue with that relationship in mind, then consider how formal or personal the gift should feel. When you know someone dislikes a particular flower or strong scent, let that knowledge guide your selection more than a general rule about flower meanings.
Colour symbolism varies between families and cultures, so a shade does not communicate one fixed message to everyone. Red often suggests romance, but the recipient’s associations and your accompanying words give the gift its real context. In Russia, an odd number of stems is customary for celebratory gifts when the stems are counted individually; even numbers are traditionally associated with mourning. For a mixed bouquet, focus on an arrangement suited to the occasion and use the card to make your intention clear.
Decide what the recipient should know about the sender
Delivery is anonymous by default: the courier does not name the sender. A card with your text is free, so include your name in the message if you want the recipient to know immediately who sent the flowers. This is especially helpful for gifts from abroad, where a recipient might not connect an unexpected delivery with a friend or relative in another country. A short message naming the occasion and expressing one clear thought usually feels more personal than a long, formal greeting.
An anonymous sender does not mean a delivery without contact: the courier calls the recipient about 15 minutes before arrival. If the recipient is absent, we agree a second delivery the same day or handing the flowers to a neighbour or concierge with the sender’s consent. Consider in advance whether either handover would be appropriate for your recipient and their building. If the flowers carry a private message, bear that in mind when deciding whether someone else may receive them.
Plan for the flowers after they arrive
A bouquet is easier to enjoy when the recipient can put it in water soon after delivery, so think about where they will be spending the rest of the day. Flowers arriving just before a long journey or at the beginning of a busy shift may be awkward to carry and care for. If you know the person will be at home later, choose a delivery period that fits that routine. The most useful timing is often the moment when they have a few quiet minutes to receive the gift and find a vase.
For a cut-stem bouquet, use a clean vase, remove leaves that would sit below the waterline and make fresh cuts with a clean, sharp tool before placing the stems in water. Check the water daily, refresh it regularly and wash the vase when changing it to remove residue. Keep the flowers away from direct heat and strong sunlight, and follow any care instructions supplied for the particular arrangement. Different flowers need different handling, so avoid treating general advice as a guarantee of how long every bouquet will last.
