Express Flower Delivery Tracking: How to Follow Your Order

Express flower delivery tracking means following a same-day order through a few short stages: confirmation, preparation of the bouquet, handover to the courier and delivery to the recipient. Unlike a parcel, an express bouquet does not pass through sorting centres, so the whole chain takes hours, not days, and the most reliable signals are the order confirmation and the courier's call to the recipient. With us, in large cities express delivery takes 1 to 2 hours after the order is confirmed.

Customers who order from abroad usually ask us the same things in the shop and on the phone: when the clock starts, how they will know the bouquet has arrived, and what happens if the recipient is out. This article goes through an express order step by step, explains what the usual tracking wording means, and lists what you can do on your side to make sure the bouquet reaches the right door on time.

When the express clock actually starts

The most common misunderstanding concerns the starting point. The 1 to 2 hour window for express delivery in large cities counts from the moment the order is confirmed, not from the moment you press the payment button. Confirmation means the operator has checked the address, the delivery zone and the details of the order. For a city address this is quick; for remote districts and suburbs the operator also confirms the delivery price, since only city delivery has a fixed cost of 500 RUB.

For this reason a complete order is the fastest order. A full address with entrance, floor, flat and intercom code, a working phone number for the recipient and a clear card text leave nothing to clarify, and the bouquet goes into preparation straight away. An order with a missing flat number waits until someone can reach you, and that waiting time is not part of the express window.

If you are ordering from another time zone, check the local time in the recipient's city before choosing express. An express order placed late in your evening may arrive in the recipient's early morning, which suits a birthday surprise at breakfast but not a sleeping household.

Typical stages of an express order and what they mean

Flower services describe an express order with similar wording, and it helps to know what each stage means in practice. "Order received" or "paid" means the payment has gone through and the order is in the system, but nothing has been checked yet, so the delivery window has not started. With us, online payment is available by bank card, SBP or Yandex Pay, and foreign bank cards are accepted through Robokassa.

"Confirmed" means the details have been accepted and the order goes to the florist; with us, this is the point from which the 1 to 2 hour express count in large cities begins. "Assembled" or "ready" means the bouquet has been made and wrapped and is waiting for the courier. Most of an express window is spent on assembly and the drive, not on paperwork.

"Out for delivery" and "delivered" are the last two stages. Instead of watching a dot on a map, the clearest signal on our side is a human one: the courier calls the recipient about 15 minutes before arrival. Our separate article on tracking a flower order from abroad covers notifications and updates in more detail.

Express, exact time or a time window

Express is the right choice when the occasion is today and you have only just remembered it, or when you want the flowers to arrive while a specific moment is still happening, such as a hospital discharge or the end of an exam. It trades precision for speed: you know the bouquet will arrive within 1 to 2 hours of confirmation in a large city, but not the exact minute.

When the minute matters more than the speed, an exact time (plus or minus 30 minutes) is the better option, for example to coincide with the start of a dinner or a video call with the family. A time window of 09-12, 12-15, 15-18 or 18-21 is the practical middle ground: it is easy to plan around the recipient's working day, and it removes most of the uncertainty that people try to solve with tracking.

For a known date, pre-ordering 1 to 30 days ahead is calmer than relying on express on the day itself, especially before 8 March, 1 September or New Year, when everyone orders at once. In Saint Petersburg delivery runs around the clock, which makes a very early or very late surprise possible in the city.

If the recipient is not at home

Express speed is of little use if nobody opens the door. Because the courier calls the recipient about 15 minutes before arrival, most problems are solved at that moment: the recipient says they are on their way, or suggests where to leave the bouquet. Delivery is anonymous by default, so the courier does not name the sender during that call.

If the recipient is still not there, we agree a second delivery the same day or hand the flowers to a neighbour or concierge, but only with the sender's consent. Customers ordering from abroad often find it useful to mention in the order who else lives with the recipient, so the decision can be made quickly. A short card with your name also helps: the card with your text is free, and it tells the recipient at once who the flowers are from if the bouquet was left with someone else.

Timing the delivery to the recipient's routine prevents most of these situations in the first place. A surprise for someone who works office hours is far more likely to succeed in the 18-21 window than with an express order sent at midday, and a weekday morning is a poor choice for a student with lectures. If you know the recipient's habits, use them: an older relative who walks to the market every morning is usually at home after lunch, and a colleague is easiest to reach at the office address.

How to order an express bouquet to Russia

Pyat Tsvetov has worked since 2011 and has three own flower shops in Saint Petersburg, on Ilyushina Street, Obvodny Canal Embankment and Srednerogatskaya Street; we deliver flowers across Russia. Choose a bouquet in our catalogue, enter the recipient's full address and phone number, select express, an exact time, a time window or a pre-order date, and pay online.

Before paying, check three details that cause most express delays: the recipient's phone number with the correct country and city code, the flat and entrance number, and the intercom code if the building has one. In older Saint Petersburg buildings the entrance is often from the courtyard rather than the street, so a note such as "entrance through the arch, second door on the left" saves the courier several minutes. Write the card text in advance as well, in Russian or English, so that nothing needs to be clarified after confirmation.

City delivery costs 500 RUB; for remote districts and suburbs the operator confirms the price when confirming the order. All conditions are on the delivery and payment page. For questions about the status of an order or about a particular bouquet, call 8 (812) 507-67-05.
