Flowers Delivered Tomorrow: What to Arrange Today for a Smooth Delivery
To have flowers delivered tomorrow, place a pre-order today: choose the bouquet, set tomorrow's date, pick a time window or an exact time, and pay online. We accept pre-orders from 1 to 30 days ahead, so a next-day order is an ordinary booking, not a rush job.
We have been running flower shops in Saint Petersburg since 2011, and the evening before a birthday is one of our busiest moments on the phone. Most callers are abroad, and they ask the same handful of questions. This article collects the answers, plus the florist's side of choosing flowers that will look right on the day they arrive and for a week afterwards.
The questions people ask when they order for tomorrow
The first question is almost always about timing: will the bouquet arrive in the morning. The answer is that you choose. There are four windows, 09-12, 12-15, 15-18 and 18-21, or you can ask for an exact time, and then the courier arrives within plus or minus 30 minutes of it. An exact time is worth it when the delivery is tied to a moment, such as a breakfast, a video call or a guest arriving at a restaurant.
The second question is about the address. Customers often know the street and the building but not the entrance or the flat. In Russian apartment blocks both are needed, and a door code helps a lot. If you do not have them, give the recipient's phone number: the courier calls about 15 minutes before arrival and clarifies everything in that call.
The third is whether the recipient will know who sent the flowers. Delivery is anonymous by default and the courier does not name the sender. The card with your text is free, so the recipient finds out only what you write. Many people sign with a family nickname rather than a full name, which feels more personal on the card.
The fourth question is about cost. City delivery is 500 RUB. For suburbs and remote districts the operator confirms the price when confirming the order, before anything is sent out.
Planning around Russian time zones
Russia covers eleven time zones, and this is where many next-day orders go wrong. The time windows are local time at the delivery address. When it is 9 am in London in winter, it is already 4 pm in Krasnoyarsk and 7 pm in Vladivostok, so a window chosen by your own morning can easily miss the recipient. Always count the window by the recipient's clock.
For a birthday, the first window is the traditional choice, because people like to start the day with flowers. For someone who works office hours, 12-15 is better if you send to the workplace and 18-21 if you send to the home. For older relatives, late morning is usually the best: they are up, at home, and not yet out at the shops or the clinic.
If you want to read more about timing for specific towns, our guides cover places far from the big cities, for example sending flowers to Krasnokamsk from abroad. The general principle is the same everywhere: order a day ahead, and pick the window by the recipient's routine, not yours.
Bouquets we can deliver
Paying from abroad and confirming the order
Payment is online on the site by bank card, SBP or Yandex Pay. Foreign bank cards are accepted, with payment processed via Robokassa, which matters for most of our customers living outside Russia. Once the order is paid and confirmed, it is fixed for the date and time you chose.
If something needs clarifying, the operator contacts you rather than guessing. The typical reasons are an address in a suburb where the delivery price has to be confirmed, a missing flat number, or a recipient's phone that looks incomplete. For any question before or after ordering, call us on 8 (812) 507-67-05. The full terms are collected on the delivery and payment page.
It also helps to put a short note in the order comment about what to do if nobody is home. The courier calls about 15 minutes before arrival; if the recipient is out, we agree a second delivery the same day, or hand the flowers to a neighbour or a concierge with your consent. Deciding this in advance saves a phone call at an inconvenient hour for you.
Ordering for tomorrow in Saint Petersburg
Saint Petersburg is our home city: we have three of our own flower shops here, on Ilyushina Street, on the Obvodny Canal Embankment and on Srednerogatskaya Street. In Saint Petersburg delivery runs around the clock, so a next-day order here can be timed to almost any moment, including late evening or early morning.
That flexibility is useful for occasions that do not fit office hours: a bouquet waiting at the door after a night flight, flowers for a nurse finishing a shift, a surprise at midnight on a birthday. For such orders, choose an exact time rather than a window and tell us in the comment about door codes or a concierge, because buildings are locked at night.
For other cities, express delivery in large cities is 1-2 hours after confirmation, and windows and exact times work the same way. Ordering a day ahead is still the calmer route, wherever the recipient lives.
Choosing flowers that will look right on the day
In the shop we often hear the request for the flowers to look their best exactly on the day and to last. The answer depends on the flower. Roses arrive with heads that are just opening and reach their fullest shape over the next two or three days, so they look good on delivery and even better later. Peonies and tulips open quickly in a warm flat, which is lovely for a party but means a shorter life in the vase.
For a gift that should stand for a week or longer, chrysanthemums, alstroemeria, carnations, eustoma and spray roses are the reliable choice; with basic care many of them last up to two weeks. A mixed bouquet built on these flowers with one or two showier stems, such as a few garden-style roses, gives both the first impression and the staying power. Browse the bouquets catalogue by occasion and check the description for the list of flowers.
A few points of Russian etiquette are worth keeping in mind. Small bouquets for living people have an odd number of stems; even numbers are associated with funerals. With 25 stems and more nobody counts. Older people sometimes still read yellow flowers as a sign of parting, so for a grandmother warm pink, peach or white tones are the safer palette.
What the recipient should do when the flowers arrive
The first hour decides how long the bouquet lives. Cut 1-2 cm off each stem at an angle with a sharp knife, remove any leaves that would sit under water, and put the flowers into a clean vase with cool water.
After that, change the water every one or two days and trim the stems again each time. Keep the vase away from radiators, direct sun and the fruit bowl, because ripening fruit releases ethylene, which speeds up wilting. A rose that droops early can often be revived by recutting the stem and standing it in deep water for a couple of hours. Box arrangements in floral foam stay in their box; the foam just needs a little water every day to remain damp.
