Sending Flowers to Clients Throughout the Year

Businesses can plan flower deliveries to clients throughout the year, but a dedicated recurring account or automatic subscription is not confirmed among our services. At Pyat Tsvetov (5 Flowers), ask us on 8 (812) 507-67-05 about your proposed schedule before relying on an ongoing arrangement. Individual deliveries can be pre-ordered 1–30 days ahead.
Customers planning business gifts often start with a list of birthdays, company anniversaries and seasonal greetings, then need help turning it into sensible orders. Our approach is to establish the occasion, recipient, destination and message for each delivery. Pyat Tsvetov has operated since 2011 and has three own flower shops in Saint Petersburg, with flower delivery across Russia.
Clarify what your business needs from a recurring arrangement
A recurring account can mean several different things: flowers sent automatically, a saved recipient list, consolidated billing or simply regular orders placed by one employee. Those features should not be assumed to come together. Before making an annual commitment, describe the frequency, number of recipients and cities involved, then ask which parts of the arrangement can be accommodated. Keep your own calendar until the ordering process has been agreed.
Prepare a short brief with the occasion, intended delivery date, recipient's name, phone number and full address for each gift. Add a budget and any known preferences, such as a compact arrangement for a desk or flowers without a strong fragrance. Separate essential details from preferences so an unclear colour choice does not obscure a missing office number. For online orders, check the options displayed at checkout; payment uses CloudPayments, and acceptance of every foreign card should not be assumed.
Build a calendar around meaningful client occasions
Choose occasions that fit the relationship instead of sending flowers at an arbitrary monthly interval. A company anniversary, an office opening or the completion of a shared project gives the gift a clear purpose. Personal birthdays need more care: use dates the client has willingly shared and consider whether a workplace delivery would be welcome. A smaller number of well-chosen occasions can feel more considerate than frequent gifts without a clear reason.
Keep separate columns for the occasion date and the date on which someone must place the order. Our advance-order window is 1–30 days, so a yearly calendar is a planning document rather than confirmation that all deliveries have been booked. Check the recipient's working location and holiday schedule before each order, especially around year-end closures. For seasonal wording and context, see our guide to New Year corporate flowers for Russian business contacts.
Bouquets we can deliver
Choose flowers that suit a professional relationship
For a business recipient, start with the space in which the flowers will stand. A reception counter may accommodate a fuller bouquet, while a shared desk benefits from something compact that leaves room for work. Strong fragrance can be intrusive in an enclosed office, so take known sensitivities seriously. Browse the bouquets catalogue with the recipient's setting in mind, and check the individual description rather than assuming a vase or container is included.
Colour and flower meanings depend on the relationship, so avoid treating a particular shade as a universal business rule. Red roses can read as romantic; a mixed bouquet in restrained colours may be easier to interpret as professional thanks. In Russian gifting etiquette, an odd number of stems is customary when presenting a clearly countable bouquet, while even numbers are associated with mourning. If you know the recipient's preferences, let those guide the choice instead of relying entirely on symbolism.
Make the sender and message clear
Delivery is anonymous by default: our courier does not name the sender. For a client gift, use the free card to identify your business and explain the occasion. A brief message such as “Congratulations on your company anniversary. With best wishes from the team at [Company]” makes the intention clear without turning the bouquet into an advertisement. Include a person's name if that is how the recipient knows your organisation.
Check the spelling of the recipient's name, company name and any Russian text before submitting the card message. Keep praise specific and proportionate, and avoid wording that implies a personal relationship you do not have. If the recipient's employer restricts gifts, establish what is acceptable before ordering. Flowers should express goodwill without putting the client in the awkward position of explaining or refusing a gift.
Schedule each delivery around the recipient's day
We deliver across Russia, with city delivery costing 500 RUB; the operator confirms the price for remote districts and suburbs when confirming the order. Available scheduling includes an exact time within plus or minus 30 minutes, or the windows 09–12, 12–15, 15–18 and 18–21. Express delivery in large cities is 1–2 hours after order confirmation. Choose a time when the recipient is likely to be at the address, and review our delivery and payment information when preparing the order.
The courier calls the recipient about 15 minutes before arrival, so provide a number on which they can be reached during the delivery period. If the recipient is absent, we agree a second delivery that day or, with the sender's consent, hand the flowers to a neighbour or concierge. Decide in advance whether either handover would be appropriate for your client. Delivery operates around the clock in Saint Petersburg; do not apply that schedule to other destinations.
Keep repeat orders useful and flowers well cared for
Assign one person in your business to review upcoming gifts and maintain the order record. Record the intended date, address, card text and order details, then update the calendar when arrangements are confirmed. Before repeating a previous bouquet, check whether the client has moved offices or whether the occasion calls for a different tone. A useful record prevents duplicate gifts and messages that refer to last year's milestone.
For cut flowers, a clean vase and fresh water are practical starting points. Recut the stems with a clean, sharp tool, remove leaves that would sit below the waterline and use any supplied flower food according to its instructions. Keep the bouquet away from radiators, direct sun and ripening fruit, and refresh the water regularly. In an office, establish who will care for the flowers so they are not left beside a heat source or in unchanged water over a closure.
Frequently asked questions
Does Pyat Tsvetov offer an automatic recurring corporate account?
A dedicated recurring account, automatic ordering and consolidated billing are not confirmed among our services. Call 8 (812) 507-67-05 to discuss the schedule you need and establish what can be arranged.
Can we book every client delivery for the whole year now?
Individual deliveries can be pre-ordered 1–30 days ahead. Keep an annual calendar internally and place each order within that window.
How can a business abroad pay for flowers sent to Russia?
Online checkout uses CloudPayments. Check the payment options displayed at checkout, as acceptance of every foreign card is not guaranteed.
Will the client know which company sent the flowers?
The courier does not name the sender because delivery is anonymous by default. Include your company name and greeting on the free card to identify the gift.
What happens if the client is away from the delivery address?
If the recipient is absent, we agree a second delivery the same day or a handover to a neighbour or concierge with the sender's consent. Supply a reachable recipient phone number and consider acceptable handover options when planning the order.
